In the heart of Downtown Honolulu, our ever-changing menu promises an unforgettable dining experience each time you walk through our doors.

Our founders, Chef Anthony and Katherine, met in New York when they worked together at Per Se. They relocated to London and traveled extensively, experiencing and finding inspiration from some of the most exemplary restaurants and bars in the world. In 2016 they embarked on a new adventure to open Senia in Honolulu. Chef Anthony’s aptitude for seamlessly blending flavors and techniques from diverse culinary traditions is the highlight of Senia’s menu, and the restaurant has been honored with five James Beard Award nominations. With an overflow of creative ideas, the husband- and-wife team were inspired to open Podmore, a place to showcase inventive cocktails and dishes in a beautiful and welcoming space.

Anthony Rush

Chef

Chef Anthony Rush’s culinary journey is a testament to his unwavering passion for the art of gastronomy and his insatiable hunger for knowledge. Hailing from the bucolic moors of Devon, England, he recognized at a very young age that food not only brought him immense joy, but cooking allowed him to share that joy with others. Chef Rush has trained under and worked alongside some of the culinary industry’s most esteemed visionaries, honing his craft in some of the world’s finest restaurants including the acclaimed two Michelin-starred Le Champignon Sauvage and the lauded three Michelin-starred The French Laundry,
The Fat Duck, and Per Se.

Katherine Nomura

Owner

Katherine Nomura, a Los Angeles native, embodies a sense of warmth and conviviality that makes a neighborhood restaurant feel like home. Her journey into the food and beverage industry began as she worked her way through college. She learned that people light up when they encounter genuine hospitality and found a sense of community and camaraderie in the team that she worked with. Later gaining an appreciation for finesse and attention to detail at Michelin-starred restaurants such as Per Se and Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Katherine leverages her degrees in economics and nutrition and professional experience in operations, branding and PR to seamlessly run the restaurant while curating exceptional experiences for every guest.
